May of 2016 saw ILF Transportation forced to relocate from Euclid, Ohio when their offices were destroyed by fire. Working with Northeast Ohio’s Department of Economic Development under Mayor Frank Jackson, Ms. Shareef was able to acquire, renovate, and move her developing transportation company into a new facility at 16113-17 St. Clair Avenue in the very heart of the Collinwood neighborhood.

ILF Transportation is a leading transportation company that provides Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), Courier and Delivery, and Logistics services. What has set ILF Transportation apart from others in the industry, is that the company’s core service of NEMT, was created to meet the need of the disabled and disadvanta such as pregnant women, children and veterans. ILF's NEMT services provide scheduled assistance for individuals who require transportation for medical appointments, treatments, pharmacy trips, and/or other healthcare and wellness care appointments.

ILF Transportation began the year in a renovated 14,000 square foot building that holds the Business Center, which consist of the call center, dispatch services and warehouse space to store vehicles and other equipment.

Ms. Shareef received financial assistance under the SBA Municipal Small Business Initiative Program to finance costs associated with the acquisition and renovation of the property, acquisition of new transportation and office equipment, and working capital.

As part of the economic development project the ILF Transportation has created at least five new full-time jobs for City of Cleveland. Ms. Shareef has successfully secured contracts with the VA Hospital, RTA, Medicaid and Medicare. Headquartered in Collinwood, ILF provides transportation and logistics services across the United States and abroad. The company can be reached at (216) 417-0215.

The City of Cleveland is proud to assist this growing, African-American, woman-owned, transportation and logistics business.
